ShiftNote AI is a professional note formatting service designed specifically for Australian support workers in NDIS, aged care, SIL, and SDA services. Our AI-powered platform transforms informal shift notes into professional, structured documentation.

The Service includes but is not limited to:

  • AI-powered note formatting and structuring
  • Professional templates for various care scenarios
  • PDF export functionality
  • Custom template creation (Pro users)
  • Usage analytics and reporting

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Providing accurate and up-to-date information
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Subscription Plans

Free Plan

Includes 5 formatted notes (lifetime), access to all templates, PDF export, and community support.

Pro Plan

Includes unlimited notes, custom templates, priority support, and advanced analytics. Billed monthly or yearly with a 14-day free trial.

Billing and Cancellation

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • You may cancel at any time through your account settings
  • No refunds are provided for monthly subscriptions
  • Free trial users will not be charged until the trial expires

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the rights of others
  • Upload malicious code or compromise service security
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the Service
  • Use the Service for any fraudulent or illegal activities
  • Share account credentials with unauthorized parties
  • Process confidential information beyond your authorization

6. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our data handling practices include:

  • Notes are processed securely and not stored permanently
  • We comply with Australian Privacy Principles
  • User data is encrypted in transit and at rest
  • We do not share personal information with third parties without consent

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ShiftNote AI and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the content you input into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content for the purpose of providing the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShiftNote AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

9. Professional Responsibility

Important Notice

While ShiftNote AI helps format your notes professionally, you remain responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness of all content. Always review formatted notes before using them in professional settings or official documentation.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
